Art, Day 2
I am taking creative license already. Day 2 and I'm altering the rules... although I don't think I ever stated any rules to begin with. So anyhoo, today I'm posting 2 images right off the bat.
It is a snowy, windy, gray day yet again. True to form, March was in like a lamb and out like a lion. Pulling out of the garage today I noticed the snow on the hood of the van. Nothing spectacular with snow on a hood, but something about the crispy little new snow pellets and the liquid form of the melted snow caught my eye. Plus, the blue background of the van sort of went with the whole water theme.
Then, just as I was leaving I see our beautiful dog Deuce sitting on his pillow in the lights from the van. He was just too good looking not to take the photo. His fur is such a nice warm color, and lights from the van gave him a nice little glow. We love our Deucer.
So my rule broken is this: I may do more than one piece of art in a day. I can do whatever suits my fancy. Because this is my blog, and I can do what I want to. {To be sung to the tune of "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want To.} Enjoy.
Car Hood: f 2.8, 1/180, ISO 200 (High Pass filter, plus some Hue/Sat adjustments)
Deucer: f 1.8, 1/125, ISO 800 (I did adjust exposure up a bit on this in RAW converter. Burned the edges a bit with Curves.)

I like how the van and snow blend in so naturally even though the van isn't a natural subject.
